WEAVE PAUZE

I have a wrist problem :-)

Haven't woven for a week,

but here you can see a part of scarf 43.

Plus: my book of Alexander Girard,

happy textiles!

Not weaving gives me more time to

read about how to make fabrics.

So that's okay :-)

PREVIEW SCARF 43

Orange, gray and white,

I'm sticking to the houndstooth technique,

will add some surprise to it!

But first setting up my loom.

SCARF 42

Scarf 42 is the longer sister of 41,

because it is woven on the same warp.

I used more flashy colours,

to make a difference.

Measurements: 24 cm x 220 cm

Materials: wool, alpaca, acryl, cotton, synthetic yarns

SCARF 41

Pied-de-poule or houndstooth...

This scarf was ordered by a male friend,

and I tought big pied-de-poules would fit him perfectly!

It has a lot of black and grey,

with little yellow, orange and red accents.

Made with a lot of friendship :-)

Measurements: 24 x 180 cm

Materials: wool, alpaca, cotton, synthetic yarns

INHERITANCE

When my brother-in-law's grandmother died,

I inhereted a little tin box,

containing her sewing material.

Forgot all about it, till today.

My favourite object is the pincushion on the first picture.

It's so naive and sweet...
