Again a birthday scarf!

There's a lady turning 50

and her husband asked me to make her a scarf.

She has choosen very warm colours,

now it's up to me to weave and combine everything...

So more about this red hot scarf in the near future!

MY KIND OF BLUE

My shoe fabric is ready, it's in the mail to the shoe man,
and now I'm waiting for september to come...
This is my kind of blue,
vibrant but also quiet,
here and there a little dash of something else (red, brown, black and pink...),
but not too much.
The shoe fabric is made of linen, horse hair, silk and wool.

I'M WEAVING SHOES

This time it's for me.
I'm weaving a fabric for shoes.
Above they are in leather,
but mine will have my own woven (very) blue fabric.
This man is making them for me,
happy I have found him. :-)

A LONG WEEKEND

This weekend of 4 days has given me the time to work good and slowly.
The scarf is almost finished, maybe 10 cm more to weave.
But the sun is shining,
I'm joining the cats in the garden...
