THE BOYFRIEND

Meet Jeffrey,
he's my boyfriend and he's an upholsterer.
Since the beginning of this year he has his studio in our house,
and you can see his stories here:
http://jeffreyzijnmeubels.blogspot.com/
and he is also on facebook.

I'm telling you this,
because in september we have a plan.
Textiles and furniture!

But more about that later...

WORKSHOP!

Yesterday was the weaving-workshop-day!
We made little pieces like Sheila Hicks does,
and 'we' were girls from 8 till 82 years old.
My first workshop,
and I hope the weavers enjoyed it as much as I did!
More pictures here!

JUST SOME PICTURES

I made a black fabric, with lots of air,
for a photographer...

Still working on this wallpiece...
One of my looms broke down,
so had to put the warp on the other one.

This sunday I'm giving a workshop here in Bruges.
We're going to try to weave like one of my heroes,
Sheila Hicks.
Made these mini-looms for that day.
My first workshop, hope it all works out! :-)

SWAP?

This is a cushioncover I made
on a 'leftover'warp from this scarf.
Anyone in for a swap?
Can be anything,
just be creative :-)

Curious...

SPRING IN THE AIR

The new project!
I have been working on this wallpiece quite some time,
but now I am ready to put all these colours on my loom!
It's refreshing to think about something else than a scarf,
but I'm not sure it will all work out...
Fingers crossed!

And my first sunny sunday beachwalk! :-)

THE AUTUMN COLOUR SCARF

What a happy customer :-)
Brown is not really a colour I use a lot,
but it worked out.
Should do it more...
But I'm already longing for bright summerscarves at the moment
and I'm also working on another project,
but more about that later!

PICTURES AGAIN

Scarf almost finished, probably pictures of it this weekend!
Also working on a new piece,
something for a wall,
but still searching for the right form.
To be continued!
:-)
