IT'S BEEN A WHILE

Summerscarves are coming!
Selecting colours...

The towels are designed by Kitty van der Mijll Dekker,
she studied at the Bauhaus school for Art and Architecture in Dessau Germany,
and had a weaving atelier all her life.

+ I have woven a piece of fabric for a lady who makes bags,
pictures will follow soon!

SUMMERSCARF 49

My personal favourite!
Same warp as scarf 48,
but I used more cotton as weft.
The scarf has more body
and it hasn't been washed.
I especially like the gradients...

Measurements: 29 cm x 176 cm
Materials: cotton, linen, synthetic yarns

SUMMERSCARF 48

Very brigt and tranparant,
almost completely linen,
a little cotton and flashy synthetics.
For warmer times to come!

This scarf has been washed,
and the threads started to lead their own lives :-)
The linen stays rough,
and the bright orange polyster is crawling between them.

Measurements: 29 cm x 176 cm
Materials: cotton, linen, synthetic yarns

SCARF 47

The biggest scarf ever, part 2!
As I already posted, I'm making a little collection
based on scarf 43, but in different colours.
The scarves are very chunky and soft with strong graphics,

Measurements: 32 cm x 206 cm
Materials: cotton, wool, acryl, vicose, synthetic yarns

SCARF 46

I had so much fun weaving this scarf...
Tearing up my warp in little colourful pieces.
It's the same warp as 45,
but I really wanted a completely different result.

Measurements: 25 cm x 200 cm
Materials: wool, linen, acryl, synthetic yarns

SCARF 45

Scarf 45 is one for the snow princess :-)
Cold white and light blue, but also a dash of magenta!

Measurements: 25 cm x 192 cm
Materials: wool, linen, acryl, synthetic yarns and leather
